This is an additional service that falls into the Reverse Engineering category. As well as offering machining services we can also assist with product development whereby components or assemblies can be improved and optimised. By utilising our extensive engineering experience, we have the ability to identify poorly engineered parts, incorrect materials or machining processes, superior parts can then subsequently be produced. We often see components that appear to have been engineered to fail within a certain time frame so that the customer returns to the OEM for spares. Unfortunately, these are often highly priced and will fail again within a similar period. Where a customer wants to reduce maintenance downtime, we will work with them to optimize the design of the product to dial out the occurrence of failures whilst in service.
