MEL was established in 2014 company with the aim of specialising in small batch CNC machining within the East Midlands area. The formation of the company arose after we identified a need to provide local businesses with improved customer services over what they were already receiving, the main complaints being: poor quality, long lead times and slow responses to enquiries. Our focus will therefore be to ensure that the customer receives prompt quotations, following the initial enquiry and are then provided with the quality of parts they expect, within a suitable time frame. We occupy a modern, 2500 square foot premises located centrally within the town.

As well as offering machining services we can also assist with product development whereby components or assemblies can be improved and optimised. By utilising our extensive engineering experience we have the ability to identify poorly engineered parts, incorrect materials or machining processes, superior parts can then subsequently be produced.
